About Us

The 10to4 Mountain Bike Race is Kenya’s ultimate mountain bike safari. Held annually since 2002, when a small group of enthusiastic mountain bikers cycled from 10,000ft above sea level down to 4,000ft, it is the major fundraiser for the Mount Kenya Trust conservation NGO.

Now held over three consecutive days, routes are designed to challenge the most enthusiastic mountain bike riders along with those wanting a fun day out.

The 10to4 raises funds for the conservation projects of the Mount Kenya, including the reforestation of more than two million trees of Mount Kenya's National Reserve, four anti ranger poaching teams, community health projects for over 40,000 people, one of Kenya’s first elephant corridors, human-wildlife mitigation and habitat protection.

"Where else can you can ride routes designed to be fun, or demanding, or both, that take you through some of Africa's most beautiful untouched wildernesses, where you're having the time of your life while also helping a really good cause?" Susie Weeks, Executive Director, Mount Kenya Trust.
